#TrillonPesoMarch

Trillion Peso March - November 30, 2025

Ito ay work in progress. Kaya tayo naririto, we have to complete the EDSA revolution, a peaceful revolution."

Cardinal Virgilio "Ambo" David

we must walk together towards the Lord’s mountain.

“This is the right way forward: dili nata mangaway, dili na ta magbahin-bahin. Mag-uban ta padulong sa Diyos.

Renewal begins when God becomes our direction. If we want a new Philippines, if we want corruption to end, we must walk together towards the Lord’s mountain. Not toward hatred, not toward division but toward God’s light.”

We’re not just fighting politicians and oligarchs but a whole system.

In this exclusive interview from the Trillion Peso March, #INSIDER Barry Gutierrez speaks with Father Robert Reyes, the Running Priest. and longtime activist leader. Fr. Reyes reflects on five decades of struggle and how the Church, the youth, and local communities are now finding new courage to act together.

He emphasizes that the problem runs deeper than individual leaders: “Hindi lang korapsiyon ang kalaban. Buong sistemang dinastiyahan ang pinapasan natin.”

This is a message for every Filipino who couldn’t attend the protest.

Jesus is telling us: Magising kayo, Open your eyes.

“Do not let lies sound like the truth, do not let the suffering of the poor fade into the background noise,” ayon pa kay Ayuban.

WALK OF HOPE: Sto. Rosario Parish Holds Penitential Walk and Lights Candle of Hope

In response to the call of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and the Letter of Appeal issued by Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, D.D., Archbishop of Davao, the faithful of Sto. Rosario Parish, Toril gathered early this Sunday morning to hold a Penitential Walk, expressing communal prayer and moral solidarity as the Church responds to what it describes as a growing moral, political, and spiritual crisis facing the nation…

In his Letter of Appeal, Archbishop Valles expressed deep concern over issues affecting the country, including allegations of large-scale corruption and the weakening of public ethical accountability. He reminded the faithful that the Church’s response must not be driven by partisan politics but by prayer, conscience, and moral courage. The Archbishop appealed to Catholics: “to stand for truth, to defend the integrity of our nation to stand against systemic corruption, and to act with courage, honesty, and love for our people.”

Sto. Rosario Parish joins many other parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Davao that are likewise responding today through coordinated activities such as penitential walks, Rosary processions, Holy Hours, and Masses of Reparation—lifting a united voice of faith and hope…

Sto. Rosario Parish and the entire Archdiocese of Davao continue to stand firm in the belief that Christ, our Hope, walks with His people and will lead our nation toward renewal, peace, and justice.

BEU Administrators and Faculty Hold White Friday Noise Barrage Calling for Justice and Accountability | November 28, Miriam College

The perimeter fence of Miriam College once again became a gathering place for prayer, solidarity, and peaceful protest as the Basic Education Unit (BEU) administrators and faculty held a White Friday Noise Barrage on November 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event formed part of the community’s continuing call for justice and accountability from the government, standing firmly for truth and social responsibility.

Clad in white and equipped with whistles, drums, and battery-operated candles, BEU personnel assembled to make their collective voice heard. Before the noise barrage began, the group observed a solemn moment as they prayed the Holy Rosary, lifting intentions for the country, for the marginalized, and for those seeking truth in these challenging times. The quiet reverence of the prayer soon transitioned into determined action as the noise barrage commenced, echoing throughout Katipunan Avenue.

The Grade School Unit, led by Principal Dr. Krissy Lesaca-Saludez, was among the first to take their place at the line, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their colleagues from the High School Unit. The HS delegation was headed by Mr. Jed Tingson, Christian Life Supervisor, who—together with Campus Minister Sir Diego Torotoro—led the chants that energized the crowd. Their voices, amplified by the rhythmic beating of drums and the piercing sound of whistles, underscored the urgency of their message: a united call for justice, accountability, and truth.

Teachers and administrators alike joined in the chants, raising their candles as symbols of hope and perseverance. The hour-long protest remained peaceful but impassioned, embodying Miriam College’s long-standing commitment to social justice, civic engagement, and the Maryknoll tradition of active nonviolent advocacy.

As the noise barrage concluded, participants expressed their resolve to continue standing for truth and for the welfare of the Filipino people. For the BEU community, November 28 was not just a protest—it was a reminder that educators play a crucial role in shaping a society where accountability is demanded, and justice is pursued with courage and compassion.
