Saan ka kukuha ng pag-asa? Marami pong magsasabi, "Kami ang pag-asa ninyo." Hindi ang pag-asa natin hindi yung pari. Ang panginoong Diyos. Kaya sabi ni Pope Francis quoting Romans 5:5, Spes autem non confundit. Ang pag-asa ay hindi nagdidismaya. Hope does not disappoint.

“So magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat. “…Ang nakikita ko ho talaga right now the masterminds of the corrupt are winning the battle this battle against corruption. They are already winning. in my in my observation the mastermindsooino sila sila yung mga humihingi ng 20% to 30% sa bawat proyekt mga congsman and senators na some of them became billionaires in the last 3 years last year first observation my second observation is that this investigation not will only lead to a limited prosecution not to a comprehensive prosecution but definitely this will not lead to meaningful reforms.
Maniwala po kayo next year the political dynasties will still be in control of the House of the Senate of the LGUs of the cabinet departments. Ibig sabihin, the political dynasties will still be the one drafting the national budget, inserting their favorite infrastructure projects sa national budget and still inserting unprogrammed appropriations in our national budget. So um so actually I’m looking for the kind of response from the civil society and from the clurgy na that can that could be sufficient in addressing the problems. And I really hope na itong sana ang actions could really lead to meaningful reforms. Ang nakikita ko ho talaga right now, ang pinaka-root cause ng systemic corruption and systemic bad governance in our country, itong mga political dynasties. Why? Tulad ng sinabi ko sa inyo, kontrolado nila ang house, kontrolado nila ang Senado.
Sila ang gumagawa ng national budget, sila ang pinaglalaruan nila infrastructure projects natin sa bansa. Kontrolado nila mga LGUs. 87% of the provinces kontrolado ng mga dynasties. 65% ng mga cities and municipalities kontrolado ng mga dynasties. Kamag-anak sila the governor’s mayor kamag-anak nila mga congressman. Itong mga LGU mga governors and mayor sila ang nagko-control ng local budgets. Sila may control ng local infrastructure project. So yun po no.”

“…May sinabi si Pope Francis at the very beginning of his pontificate, I want a poor church for the poor. Ano ang implikasyon nito? Ah in the problem of dynasties. Uh dear bishops, dear cardinals, dear fellow priest, start cutting your ties with the dynastes. This will mean you will be poor but don’t be afraid. If you become poor then you will spend more time with the poor. Let’s just be honest dear bishops, brother priests, cardinals, how much time do we spend with the poor? How much time do we spend with the rich? And what do we what do we receive from the rich? Hindi naman lahat ng rich.
I have rich paritioners in project 8 andI have to tell myself I have to keep the imbalance. Ano yung imbalance ng buhay ko? I spend more time with the poor. Keep the imbalance. Create imbalance in your life. In fact, baliktad yung balance ng buhay natin e. Many of us spend more time with the rich and spend very little time with the poor. And that’s I think a sinful imbalance. I think this is a painful appeal but I’m beginning to hear some bishops speak this way as well.
Mukhang sa CBCP meron silang pinag-uusapan kapag malinaw na ang source ng donationay marum hindi niyo tatanggapin. Merong agreement na mga obispo, do not receive dirty money. Pero ay yung source hindi naman marumi. Pero binibigyan ka ng libreng kotse, libreng trip to Europe, America bigay na bigay sayo ng pera. Be careful. You will start thinking like a rich person when in fact nagpari tayo para sa lahat hindi lang para sa iilan. Kaya ang hirap po nito. I know this is difficult at baka magalit kayo sa akin. Pero matagal ko na pong sinasabi to…”

“I am working schools sa dioccis ng Pasig. May tatlong observation ako. Una, parang namumuo lalong-lalo na sa mga kabataan yung iisang galit sabi ko. At ikalawa, yung gising na sila kasi sa mga schools ko ah without telling them na sabihin ito pero lumalabas palagi sa mga like sa mga intramurals, sa mga dance, sports, exercises, field demonstration. yung pagsisigaw na ikulong na yan corrupt. So nakakatuwa lalong-lalo na kung malaman nila ang kahulugan. At ang pangatlo yung tinatawag palagi ni Father Robert na naririnig ko yung sakit ng mga Pilipino ang ay madaling makalimot. So doon sa iisang galit higit higit ah hindi lang na ayaw natin sa corrupsyon kundi galit tayo sa corrupsyon.
Kasi sabi ni Arx Bishop So kung hindi tayo galit sa corruption anong klaseng Diyos ang ating ah sinasamba at sinusundan? At doon naman sa mga gising na kabataan ano magandang itong Jensy ano ah magandang patuloy nilang ah patuloy silang magbantay patuloy silang magnilay at kahit Kahit saan natin tingnan wala talagang maidudulot.
Tama po ang sabi ni Attorney Laxon. Ang political dynasty ah sa ating bansa. Ako po ay matagal sa Bicol at wala ata ako doon. Walaang probinsya doon na hindi pinamumugaran ng political dynasty. Lalong-lalo na ang Kawawang Sorsogon ano ng mga Eskudero. Ah ang Villapuerte Puente Bella to name a nakalulungkot ano na parang wala ng ano sila option. At yun nga ah wala talagang maidudulot ang ah hangga’t hindi naaalis ang political dynasty o nawawala parang napak napakahirap na tayo’y ah umusbong pa. At syempre gusto kong tingnan yung katotohanan na sana hindi talaga tayo nakakalimot ano ah nakalimutan na natin unang-una ang leksyon ng EDSA Revolution.
Yung una ang pork barrel controversy nung 2013 ano ang naalala lang ng tao na nakakulong ay si Janeth Napoles pero lumaya yung mga senador at ang of course ang paral scandal na parang kinalilimutan na rin natin. So huwag po tayong makalimot ah huwag tayong makalimot at patuloy na makaalam sa takbo ng ating bansa. Walang saysay ang ating pinag-aralan kung wala itong koneksyon sa pang-araw-araw nating buhay bilang mga Pilipino. So maraming salamat po.”

“…At ang aming thrust ngayon sa BC ay masasabi kong talagang kaugnay at kadugtong ng buhay ng mga inyong pinaglalaban o inyong pinagsisikapang ah itaguyod. Una-una, ang paniniwala namin in view of the syod of bishops tungkol sa pagiging simbahan. paniniwala ng BC na tayo ay basic human communities higit sa lahat hindi pagiging simbahan ngaga kundi paano tayo lubusang nagiging tao sa ating kapwa tao na ang tinig at ang adikain ng mga tao ito adikin at ng simbahan pamayanan ang ating priority ay mga nasa gilid yung mga sinasabi nating marginalized disadvantage na ang BC ito ang dito dapat mag-ugat at ang simbahan dito dapat magbunga ng pagiging o bagong pagiging simbahan basic human communities kung kaya sa mga marginalized sector ang doon makiisa sa inyong adhikain.
Ang pangalawa ay basic ecological communities. Ang aming isinusulong sapagkat ang mga ang ating kapaligiran ang ating environmentya ay bahagi ng ating pagiging simbahan. Sabi ni Paul Francis, “To be ecological communities is to embrace love of God, love of neighbor and love of ecology and the environment. Kasama sa equation ang ekolohiya sa pagkilos natin sapagkat ang mga taong nadadala ng kahirapan at sa problema ng ekolohiya ay ang mga mahihirap din. kaya’t we promote basic ecological communities lalonglalo na sa mga pamayanan in fact sa darating na November meron kaming indigenous people at collaboration 3D immersion na gagawin namin sa bayumbong kasama na ibang sektor upang itingnan ang buhay ng mga katutubo na siyang nagdadala ng paghihirap sa paninira o pagsira ng ating kapaligiran.
At pangatlong isinusong namin ay ang basic digital communities at modernizing communities na kung saan dito natin tinitingan ang makabagong pamamaraan upang ang mga paman ay mapagpanibago. Nung nakaraang COVID-19 bunga nito ay nakita natin ang pagusbong ng isang digital church na tayo ay mayroong tinatawag na ugnayan na hindi lang physical kundi digital at malaki auloy ito sa pagsulong ng kaharian ng Diyos. At gan dito sa mga bagong set up sa mga makita natin sa mga subdivisions, ang mga chapels dito sa mga rito sa mga malls…”
On bishops and priests cutting ties with political dynasties.
“…How do you promote church of the poor? How do you live after the church of the poor? So important the way you look at the church is that it is a pilgrim church. Rich or poor we are pilgrims in this world. We don’t own our properties are life are all pilgrims here. Second, ano yung ating pastoral priority? And pastoral priority is clear. You have to love the poor, the suffering, the marginalized. You have to reach out to those who have less in life. Whether rich or poor disease are priority. You motivate like for St. James they have what we call the church of the poor apostolate. Okay.
And the church of the poor apostolate they donate for seven weeks of length, six weeks of length every Friday stations of the cross they donate and they help the becs the poorest becs in the Philippines. 260 of them all over the Philippines a regular support every year to support and they call themselves we are part of the church of the poor so that is that kind of ano ba iyung priority kaming mga pari we can easily intellectualize and justify that we are a church of the poor but intellectualization but in actual prioritizing of time, effort energy, concern and the third is methodology. There’s no choice but to go to the people walk walk with them hold sacred what where the people live. yung home visit the communities is necessary a priest who wants to be part of the whole process will have to look at the three ano yung pastoral vision ano iyung iyong pastoral priorities atung pastoral method sa akin doon pag nangyari yyan you bring about the conversion of everybody in the parish towards one direction. Pero kung wala lang iyon, mag-advocate ka na ganito ganito tayo walang vision at at walang methodology mahirap. So this is to me the process that we go through.”
Closing Remarks by Fr Robert
“…Pero salamat sa mga dumalong pari at ah kami tuwang-tuwa si Lolo Manny ay nandito at ah kumpleto merong isang 48 years old, may isang 70, may 71 at 82. Biro niyo yan at ah provitin sir. Huwag tayong ika nga ah space non confundit. May pag-asa po. Hindi po tayo mawawalan ng pag-asa dahil ang pag-asa ay hindi po tayo didismahin. Nandiyan ang Panginoon na pag-asa sa lahat ng oras.
Kaya salamat. Ah yung clurgy for good governance is for the campaign for the people’s initiative to end dynasties. Kaya yung mga BEC education muna yan e. Kaya hindi ko muna sasabihin yung gagawin natin kasi we will have a separate launching for that. Okay.
At sa lahat ng mga naririto um sa mga kapatid na kapatid at kaibigan sa salamat sa inyo. Ah sa ating mga volunteers na walang kapag Mina and Oon. Salamat na marami sa lahat ng mga dumalo na kinatawan ng mga mga partner organization, ang anti-dynasty at ang tindig at ah at magdalo. Maraming maraming salamat po. The church will be renewed by our actions at bagong kapaligiran, bagong lipunan na mahal ng ating bansa na mahal na mahal natin.
