As the Gospel reminds us, This gathering is a testament to the enduring hope and strength of those who seek justice for their loved ones.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, a Kamustahan (Fellowship and Sharing) session will provide families a safe space to express their experiences, struggles, and hopes. The event will conclude with a communal lunch, symbolizing a shared commitment to healing, justice, and hope.
Pope Francis, in Fratelli Tutti, calls us to stand in solidarity with those who suffer, saying, This gathering embodies that call to action, ensuring that grief is transformed into a collective movement for truth, justice, and peace.
Expected attendees include families of EJK victims, religious leaders, human rights advocates, and social action ministers dedicated to accompanying those affected by violence.
